According to the Carbon Trust lighting is responsible for 40% of the average organisation’s electricity bill. Emprise Services plc has partnered with induction lighting supplier Inductec Lighting Limited to launch an energy saving lighting solution that has the potential to save more than 50% of the energy cost expended in illuminating premises. Several years ago the Dutch Government asked LEDExpert Engineering and Consultancy in the Netherlands to conduct a study to see if it was possible using LED technology to provide a more energy efficient tunnel lighting solution, but at the same time improving the light quality and safety of the road users.
