UPS Systems plc: UPS Systems lights Trafalgar’s iconic Christmas tree

UPS Systems has donated a fuel cell system to light Trafalgar Square’s Christmas tree. The fuel cell will power the star on top of the tree throughout December and the New Year. Ultrafine Technology has launched the Superlite 100, an ultra bright, portable, ultraviolet light source that enables fluorescence to be viewed even in full daylight. The Superlite 100 is a compact unit that takes advantage of breakthroughs in lamp technology to produce greatly increased output. Ulverston Inshore Rescue was set up after many tragedies on the dangerous Morecambe Bay Sands. Waterproof LED lights donated by Marl International have been installed on the deck of a Ulverston Inshore Rescue craft to ensure it is easily located even in extreme weather conditions.
