Located in the heart of London, the Thistle Hotel's commanding position in Piccadilly had become overshadowed at night by its glitzy neighbours. To overcome this, lighting designers Lighting Design International created a simple scheme to highlight the hotel's curved facade. The Smith Centre at London's Science Museum is a brand new £1 million facility, funded by the Martin Smith Foundation, designed to bring together scientists, policy makers, business people and the public in rooms displaying special exhibitions of the museum's treasures.
