The Home-Icon® Color TouchScreen interface links together individual commercial and residential lighting control systems made by Futronix, and can program, operate and add functionality to any lighting control system from a single Enviroscene unit to a complex multiple-rack PFX dimmer system.

Installed dimming systems can be customized to meet any lighting requirements. Lighting ‘scenes’ can be set and saved for recall at any time with a touch of the Home-Icon screen. Home-Icon also automates opening and closing of curtains, is easily integrated with AV equipment, personal computers, security & fire alarms, air conditioning, and heating & telephones. The integral 365-day astronomical timer can program lighting & automation events up to one year in advance.

Typical applications: Luxury residential properties & developments, hotels, convention centers & exhibition venues, restaurants.

Macros substantially increase functionality of dimming systems. Macros are simply sequences of pre-programmed commands. With macros it is possible to record a complex sequence of events, and recall the sequence with a single command. Standard macros available with the Futronix Home-Icon controller are programmed for numerous residential and commercial uses.

Home-Icon controllers feature a large and bright, full-color Thin Film Transistor (TFT) touch-screen display. The system combines ease of operation and flexibility, with all features set-up from the touch-screen interface. Optionally web-enabled with its own website pages and dynamic data display, Home-Icon has an intuitive menu structure that is easy for end-users and installers to operate.

The Home-Icon unit typically installs by the main entrance to the controlled area or in an electrical control room. The various distributed intelligent lighting control units in the lighting control system – particularly large and complex installations - can be located in different local parts of the building or house, and linked to form a seamless multi-zone system. This results in space reduction as well as simplified wiring and cost savings throughout.

All features for linked systems are set-up from the Home-Icon’s touch-screen interface. Full-color graphics represent circuit levels & other programmable settings in a clear and logical user-friendly format. Depending on level of access the customer can re-program lighting scenes, raise and lower lighting circuit levels and save system changes.
