GJD Manufacturing has launched its DygiZone lighting controller / enunciator. The re-designed and more powerful 4-Zone expansion unit represents the next stage in development of intelligent lighting controllers.

Running from a 12V supply at 20mA standby the DygiZone units feature a blue-lit LCD display depicting real time clock, detector activation and zone status. Four individual zone buttons permit selection of zone status and all programming options. Included here are individual audible tones or up to 10 seconds of recorded message assigned to each zone plus two on/off timers.

According to GJD's Managing Director Mark Tibbenham, "Our 2-zone and 4-zone Solitaire Key Pads have been industry favourites for some 20 years now and have an enviable and deserved reputation for providing excellent and robust service in numerous operational environments. We took the decision to incorporate enhanced functionality into our new product and provide a "facelift" as part of our ongoing product development strategy. Pre-launch trials with the new units in several market sectors have proceeded extremely well with excellent feedback being received."

Concluding Tibbenham added, "We are confident that our many regular and new clients will embrace these new devices which represent the next generation of the Solitaire units. With so many of our original units still performing perfectly satisfactorily in numerous systems however we remain committed to holding strategic spares for the full Solitaire range so existing users not wishing to upgrade immediately will experience no service difficulties."
