Recolight has launched a film to highlight the services it provides and to raise awareness of the importance of recycling Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs). Cartledge develops a lighting solution to enhance Waterside Gardens in Crayford

Cartledge has successfully completed an exciting and challenging project for the London Borough of Bexley to help revitalise a local community. The brief was to develop a lighting solution to enhance Waterside Gardens in Crayford, to create a welcoming open space and improve residents’ feelings of safety after dark. Incorrectly selected or installed downlighters can the cause of fires in homes

The Electrical Safety Council (ESC) have been working with the Surrey Fire and Rescue Service to investigate concerns that incorrectly selected, installed and/or maintained downlighters may have been the cause of a significant number of fires in homes. As part of the investigation, they commissioned an independent laboratory to carry out a limited safety assessment of, and thermal performance testing on, a selection of commercially-available downlighters.
